Let us know about our Imam

Book – Al Mahajjah fi ma Nazala fi al- Qaim al-Hujjah

Author – Syed Hashim Bahrani (a.r.)

The sixth verse – (Surah Naml verse 62) which is the 63rd verse of the book

Who answers the distressed one when he calls upon Him and removes the evil, and He will make you successors in the earth? Is there a god with Allah? Little is it that you mind!

This is one of the most common verses in Quran which we recite after every Namaz for the health and safety of all believers around the world. In this excerpt let us see how is it related to the Imam of our time

It is narrated from Imam Sadiq (a.s.) that: When the Qa’im (a.t.f.s.) rises, he will enter Majid Al-Haraam. He will face the Kaaba, and his back will be toward Maqaam of Ibrahim. He will perform two Rak’ats of prayer there. Then he will say, “O people! I am the closest to Adam(as). I am the closest to Ibrahim(as). I am the closest to Isma’eel(as). I am the closest to Mohammad (s.a.w.a.).” Then he will raise his hands toward the sky and pray humbly to Allah, beseeching Him (so much) that he will fall on his face. This is the meaning of the words of Allah, “Is not He (best) who answers the distressed when he calls to Him and removes the distress and makes you the successors in the earth” i.e. the aforementioned verse

In another tradition it is narrated from Imam Baaqir (a.s.) that: “This verse was revealed about the Qa’im of the family of Mohammad (a.t.f.s.). When he rises, he will wear a turban and he will pray near the Maqaam of Ibrahim (which is near the Holy Kaaba). Then he will beseech his Lord and his prayers will be answered”

May Allah give us the Taufeeq of seeing that glorious day when Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) will reappear from the Holy House of Allah. InshaAllah
